bit of an update

so was at the gym today, yes despite my physical appearance i do infact have a gym membership!
last nite i want to a charity doo, to be honest i wasnt expecting much, but i'l be honest...i broke my heart! cried sore! ive now decided that im going to raise money for this charity! the mothers speech lastnite made me melt! The charity was set up in memory of joshua kyle rea who suffered from a rare genetic disorder and sadly passed away at 9 months! The trusts aim is to help children whose life expectancy is less than 5 years primarily suffering from rare genetic disorders. The charity provide equipment and luxury items such as small toys, soft furnishings ect to enhance the childs quality of life. Whilst at hospital with Joshua-Kyle for 5 months, the parents noticed the lack of facilities and equipment for children/ babies with special needs. Joshua-Kyle, like so many other terminally ill children needed suitable toys as he had little strength but still needed to be stimulated as his mind was very active. There was no seating for him, a simple bean bag could have made a big difference to him, a special mattress would have made his muscles less painful, the list goes on.
As parents Gary and Jacquie-Lee Rea didnt want to leave joshua-kyle to go shopping for these items as every moment with him was precious. Through these gifts, which may be used at hospital or at home, they wish to provide a better quality of life, improve comfort and hopefully gain some smiles!
Initially the charity will be working closely with 'Maynard Sinclair Ward' at the Ulster Hospital and 'Paul Ward' P.I.C.U at the Royal hospital for sick children. As funds progress they hope to work with more hospitals in Northern Ireland! Every Penny donated will be used to buy equipment.
